DescriptionThe Doxa Army Watches of Switzerland Edition, reference 785.00.031.20, represents a contemporary reinterpretation of a historically significant timepiece, originally developed in connection with the Swiss Army. A primary design characteristic of its predecessor was the innovative application of a blackening oxidation process to the stainless-steel case, resulting in a matte black finish to eliminate glare – a critical attribute for military applications. This aesthetic is preserved in the current iteration through the utilization of a matte black ceramic case material, which offers exceptional scratch resistance and a persistent non-reflective surface. The case construction further incorporates a titanium container, ensuring a balance of strength and lightweight properties. Dimensional specifications for the case are a diameter of 42.50mm by 44.50mm, with a relatively slim profile at 11.95mm in height. Water resistance is rated at 30ATM, equivalent to 300meters or 984feet, facilitated by a screw-down crown and a stainless steel screw-down case back, affirming its capabilities as a robust diving instrument.

At the heart of this limited edition timepiece is a Swiss mechanical automatic, self-winding movement, which has earned COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) certification as a chronometer, attesting to its high precision and accuracy.
