The 44mm diameter case, along with the screw-down crown located at the 4 o'clock position, are machined from high-strength, seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel, a material selected for its extreme durability and non-magnetic qualities. The entire case, inclusive of the clasp, benefits from a Black Hard Coating applied on a TEGIMENT Technology basis, significantly enhancing scratch resistance. This treatment builds upon the inherent strength of the submarine steel. The case thickness measures 14.7mm, and the watch weighs 113 grams without the included strap. Band lug width is a standard 22mm.

Powering the U1 S E is the Sellita SW 200-1, a self-winding mechanical movement. It features 26 bearing jewels, a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour, and includes a seconds stop function for precise time setting.
