DescriptionThe Norqain Wild ONE Hakuna Mipaka, reference NNQ3000QNX1LA/X001, is a testament to robust engineering and purposeful design, stemming from a collaboration with wildlife ambassador Dean Schneider. The construction begins with a 42.00mm diameter case, further defined by a 12.30mm thickness and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.40mm. The case itself is a multi-part assembly, incorporating a brown NORTEQ® composite material for the upper and lower cage sections. This NORTEQ® material provides structural integrity while contributing to the watch's lightweight profile. A sand-colored rubber shock absorber, which contains actual sand from the Hakuna Mipaka oasis, envelops a sandblasted titanium core that houses the movement and serves as the case back. The integration of materials such as the NORTEQ and the rubber, are carefully chosen to optimize the relation between resistance and overall weight.

Further bolstering its resilience, the watch showcases a water resistance rating of 200 meters, confirmed through rigorous testing protocols. The security of the internal components is enhanced by a screw-down crown, which is overmolded with sand-colored rubber and features the NORQAIN logo. Visibility is prioritized through the use of double anti-reflective, scratch-proof sapphire glass protecting the dial. The open case back, also crafted from scratch-proof sapphire glass, displays the Hakuna Mipaka logo and the "ONE of 300" designation, signifying its limited-edition status. The integrated sand-colored rubber strap, with a "lion fur" pattern and Hakuna Mipaka logo, secures via a brown NORTEQ® pin buckle. Powering the timepiece is the NORQAIN Manufacture Calibre NN20/1, produced by Kenissi. This self-winding mechanical movement, certified as a chronometer by COSC, includes 27 jewels. It includes a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). The power reserve, ensuring operational autonomy, extends to 70 hours. The personalized bridge features engraved NORQAIN core values. The dial, in brown, is stamped with a "lion fur" texture and marked with the Hakuna Mipaka logo. Diamond-cut, skeletonized indices, plated in red gold and accented with white X1 Super-LumiNova®, ensure legibility.
