DescriptionThe Norqain Independence Skeleton, reference NB3000B03A/303, presents a 42.00mm diameter case constructed from 316L stainless steel. This robust case material is further enhanced with a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating, providing superior scratch resistance and a distinctive, stealthy aesthetic. Case thickness is measured at 11.80mm, while the lug-to-lug distance spans 48.75mm. This, matched with a lug width of 22.00mm, provides a good presence on many wrists. The watch offers a water resistance rating of 100 meters, suitable for surface swimming and various water activities, but it would not be suggested to go deep-sea diving. A screw-down crown, detailed with the NORQAIN logo, reinforces this water resistance, simultaneously enhancing secure operation. Sapphire crystal, treated with a double anti-reflective coating, is implemented for both the dial display and the exhibition case back. This material, known for its superior hardness, ensures optimal scratch resistance. The left side of the case includes an engraved NORQAIN plate, fashioned also of 316L stainless steel and matching the main case's DLC finish.

Powering this timepiece is the NORQAIN Caliber N08S, a mechanical automatic skeleton movement. This movement is a certified chronometer, meaning it has passed the rigorous accuracy tests as designated by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC). The N08S incorporates 26 jewels within its construction, minimizing friction and wear on key components, thus promoting long-term reliability. The movement boasts a personalized NORQAIN oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire case back, which winds the mainspring as a reaction to wrist motions. It provides a power reserve of 41 hours when fully wound. This caliber operates at a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, which is equivalent to 4Hz. This rate provides a fluent sweep of the seconds hand and helps contribute to the overall precision of the watch. The dial showcases diamond-cut, faceted indexes and hands, all of them are in red gold plating. The hands and indexes are all filled with X1 Superluminova. The second hand differs slightly with a flat, diamond-cut profile with red gold plating and a red-painted tip.
