DescriptionThe Norqain reference N3008S03A/ES301, part of the Independence collection, is constructed with a 316L stainless steel case. Case diameter measures precisely 40.00mm, excluding the crown, and its thickness is 12.05mm. The lug-to-lug distance, which contributes to the watch's wearability, measures 46.30mm, while the space between the lugs, designed for strap integration, is 20.00mm. A screw-down crown, adorned with the NORQAIN logo, enhances water resistance, which is rated to a depth of 100 meters. The watch's structure incorporates a double anti-reflective, scratch-proof, flat sapphire crystal over the dial, safeguarding it from impacts and ensuring optimal legibility under varying light conditions. This sapphire crystal application extends to the open case back, which also uses a flat, scratch-proof sapphire, granting a visual portal to the automatic movement within. A distinctive design element of the case is the 316L stainless steel NORQAIN plate, which is affixed to the left flank.

The visual focus of the timepiece is its green gradient dial, which introduces a unique characteristic: a hand-applied “scratched” finish, ensuring that no two dials are identical. Applied to the dial are diamond-cut faceted indexes, filled with white X1 Superluminova, offering enhanced visibility in low light. The same Superluminova treatment is given to the diamond-cut faceted hour and minute hands, for consistent luminosity. The second hand is distinguished by its flat, diamond-cut design and a red tip that is also filled with white X1 Superluminova. A date window, subtly placed at the 3 o'clock location, adds functionality without disrupting the balance of the dial. The watch uses NORQAIN calibre N08, a mechanical automatic movement based on the Sellita SW200-1. The movement undergoes chronometer certification from COSC. The caliber showcases a personalized NORQAIN oscillating weight, which is visible through the case back. It contains 26 rubies, operating at a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). When fully wound, the power reserve extends to 41 hours.
