DescriptionThe Norqain Independence model N3008S03A/NS301 presents a meticulously engineered structure encased within a 40.00mm diameter framework constructed from 316L stainless steel. This specific grade of stainless steel is known for enhanced corrosion resistance. The overall thickness measures 12.05mm, producing a streamlined presence on the wrist. The design incorporates a lug-to-lug distance of 46.30mm, alongside a lug width of 20.00mm, dimensions chosen for both comfort and secure strap integration. The exhibition case back utilizes a flat, scratch-proof sapphire crystal, ensuring unobstructed visibility of the internal mechanism. The watch’s operational integrity under pressure is evidenced by its 100-meter water resistance rating. Sealing the case and contributing to its water resistance is a screw-down crown, subtly incorporating the NORQAIN logo.

The dial is a study in detailed craftsmanship. It's manually finished to get the "scratched" appearance. Consequently, no two dials are identical. Diamond-cut, faceted indexes, enhance readability. These indexes, along with the hour and minute hands, are treated with white X1 Superluminova, a luminescent compound, facilitating legibility under diminished lighting. The second hand, distinguished by a red tip, is also infused with Superluminova. Protecting the unique dial is a flat sapphire crystal, which has been given a double anti-reflective treatment and selected for maximum scratch resistance. The black inner bezel/rehaut provides additional design detail, while a date aperture is precisely positioned at the 3 o’clock marker. Powering the timepiece is the NORQAIN calibre N08, a self-winding mechanical movement, based on the Sellita SW200-1, is visible. The movement, bearing chronometer certification (COSC), assures timekeeping. It is comprised of 26 jewels and features a custom-designed NORQAIN oscillating weight. The N08 caliber maintains a 41-hour power reserve and operates at a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz). The watch is complimented by a black rubber strap with a "Milanese" pattern.
