DescriptionThe L2.629.4.78.3, from the Longines Master Collection, is constructed with a round, stainless steel case measuring Ø 40.00 mm in diameter and an 11.70 mm thickness. The case incorporates a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, mirrored on the transparent case back, exposing the intricate mechanics. The timepiece exhibits a lug distance of 21 mm, providing a lug-to-lug measurement of 46.70 mm, and it has a total weight of 83.7 grams. It is engineered to withstand water pressure up to 3 bar. The dial displays a silver "barleycorn" finish, complemented by painted Arabic numerals, and features blued steel hands for visual clarity.

This model houses the Caliber L889, a self-winding mechanical movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement provides a power reserve of approximately 59 hours. Functionality extends to hours, minutes, a small seconds subdial located at the 3 o'clock position, and a date display. The chronograph mechanism adds central 60-second hand functionality along with a 30-minute counter positioned at 9 o'clock. The watch comes on a brown alligator strap, secured with a triple safety folding clasp that has a push-piece opening.
