Its architecture ensures water resistance up to 10 bar, equivalent to 100 meters or 328 feet, a capability supported by the inclusion of a screw-down crown for enhanced sealing. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating to improve legibility under various lighting conditions. The dial itself is black, featuring markers and hands treated with Super-LumiNova for visibility in low-light environments. The unidirectional rotating bezel, a key feature for divers, is marked for tracking elapsed time.

Internally, the watch is powered by the Caliber H-10 automatic movement. This three-hand mechanism provides a significant 80-hour power reserve and incorporates a Nivachron balance spring, known for its resistance to magnetic fields and temperature variations, thereby enhancing timekeeping stability.
