DescriptionThe Fortis Novonaut N-42 Amadee-24, designated by the reference F2040016, is a horological instrument constructed primarily from titanium, a material chosen for its superior strength-to-weight ratio. The watch case measures 42mm in diameter and exhibits a lug-to-lug measurement of 51mm, with an overall height of 15mm. The watch head, independent of the bracelet, registers a weight of 88 grams. Water resistance is certified to a depth of 200 meters, equivalent to 600 feet or 20 atmospheres, ensured by a screw-down crown featuring a triple gasket system and performance FKM gaskets. Visibility is maintained under adverse conditions by a sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating on both surfaces. The dial incorporates numerals applied with SuperLuminova® X1 Lumicast, ensuring legibility in low-light environments. The titanium bezel further contributes to the watch's lightweight construction and robustness.

At its core, the timepiece is driven by the space-tested automatic manufacture calibre Werk 17, a column-wheel chronograph movement. This movement, regulated to chronometer standards, provides a power reserve of 60 hours. Functionality includes a day-date complication, integrated into the chronograph mechanism. The hour and minute hands are metallic, filled with Superluminova®X1, while the sweep second hand is golden with a Superluminova®X1 "Bull's Eye" indicator. The counter hand, also golden, indicates minutes. The attached Block Bracelet, is crafted in matching titanium. This bracelet features a titanium slide clasp with an integrated micro-adjustment system for precise fitting. Fastened to the case by the Screw Pin System.
