This housing is meticulously sealed to achieve a pressure resistance of 60 bar, equivalent to a depth of 600 meters or 1,970 feet. Such integrity is further ensured by a screw-down crown, strategically positioned at the 4 o'clock position, and a solid stainless steel screw-down case back. Protecting the iconic dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, offering unimpeded legibility. The unidirectional rotating bezel, a critical component for dive time calculation, is calibrated in feet and is available with either a sandblasted stainless steel insert or a black ceramic inlay, providing tactile feedback and secure operation to prevent accidental clockwise rotation, thereby ensuring accurate monitoring of dive duration for safe ascents without requiring decompression stops.
