This construction, coupled with a screw-down crown and a stainless steel screw-down case back, ensures significant water resistance. The watch is rated for 60 ATM, which is equivalent to 600 meters or 1,970 feet, providing ample capability for professional diving activities. Protecting the dial is a resilient sapphire crystal, known for its scratch resistance. A key feature for divers is the unidirectional rotating bezel, which is offered with either a sandblasted stainless steel insert or a ceramic inlay. This bezel is marked in feet and includes dual indications for dive time in minutes and depth in feet, crucial for calculating safe ascents without decompression stops. The crown is strategically positioned at the 4 o'clock position, a characteristic design element.
