Quick TakeThis DOXA isn't just a tool; it's a vibrant statement piece that screams adventure with a nod to its rich past. Imagine strapping on this brilliant yellow Divingstar, the iconic dial practically glowing with an invitation to explore. It’s like the 80s called, but they’re on a high-tech submersible heading for uncharted waters. The 40mm case wears surprisingly sleek, yet it’s built like a miniature bathysphere, ready to plunge 600 meters without breaking a sweat. Whether you choose the rugged, "modern vintage" steel bracelet that feels as solid as a dive cage, or the funky, color-matched NATO strap that’s all about comfort and quick changes, this watch is ready for action. The satisfying click of that unidirectional bezel, the reassuring heft of the steel, and the bright, legible dial markers – it all comes together in a package that’s as fun as it is functional. It’s a serious dive watch that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
DescriptionThe SUB 600T Divingstar, reference 861.10.361.31-N, incorporates a Swiss mechanical automatic, self-winding movement, which is decorated by DOXA. This calibre operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, equivalent to 4.0 Hertz, and offers a power reserve of 38 hours. Time is displayed through central hour, minute, and second hands, complemented by a date indication. The watch's architecture is founded on a robust 316L stainless steel case, measuring 40.00 mm in diameter and 47.60 mm from lug to lug, with a total height of 14.15 mm. Ensuring its integrity under aquatic pressure, the case features a screw-down crown positioned at 4 o'clock and a stainless steel screw-down case back, contributing to an impressive water resistance rating of 60 atmospheres, which translates to 600 meters or 1,970 feet.
Protecting the iconic dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. A key feature for diving applications is the unidirectional rotating bezel, calibrated in feet, which allows for the calculation of dive times and safe ascents without decompression stops. This bezel is available with either a sandblasted stainless steel insert or a ceramic inlay. For optimal legibility in diminished ambient light conditions, all dive-pertinent indications on the dial, including the distinctive 'shark tooth' hour markers at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, are treated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material. The timepiece is offered with two distinct attachment options: a stainless steel bracelet equipped with a folding clasp that includes a wetsuit extension, or a NATO strap. The NATO strap is color-coordinated with the dial, features a pin buckle for secure fastening, and incorporates quick-release spring bars for ease of change. The lug width for strap or bracelet fitment is 20.00 mm.
