This robust housing protects a Swiss mechanical automatic movement, which features self-winding capabilities and has achieved COSC Chronometer certification. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0 Hz), the movement provides a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The mechanism incorporates decorations applied by DOXA, visible through thoughtful design although the case back is solid stainless steel and screw-down secured. Time indication includes central hours, minutes, and seconds hands, alongside a date complication displayed through an aperture positioned at the 3 o'clock index. Water resistance is rated at 30 ATM, equivalent to 300 meters or 984 feet, ensured partly by the implementation of a screw-down crown mechanism. The case back is also fabricated from stainless steel and utilizes a screw-down construction to maintain pressure integrity.
