Quick TakeForget subtle blues; this DOXA SUB 200T Aquamarine just dives right in with a splash of pure, vibrant turquoise! It's like strapping a piece of a Caribbean reef to your wrist. The 39mm case size is spot-on – feels vintage-inspired but wears perfectly modern, slipping under a cuff way easier than its beefier ancestors. Yet, it's still a proper tool watch. You've got that iconic DOXA bezel, complete with the no-deco scale (even if your deepest dive is the office coffee machine), a solid 200 meters of water resistance, and that reassuring screw-down crown. The sapphire crystal keeps things crisp, and the lume means you won't lose track of time, day or night. Whether you opt for the cool "Beads of Rice" bracelet or the matching aquamarine rubber strap, it screams fun and function. It’s a watch that doesn't take itself too seriously but is seriously capable when needed. It's retro cool meets modern refinement with a massive dose of personality.
DescriptionThe SUB 200T model, reference 804.10.241.25, is engineered with a case constructed from 316L stainless steel, measuring 39.00 mm in diameter and 41.50 mm lug-to-lug, with a vertical profile height of 10.70 mm. This housing provides water resistance rated to 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 meters or 656 feet, ensuring integrity during submersion to specified depths. Security is enhanced by a screw-down crown mechanism and a solid stainless steel screw-down case back. A principal feature integrated into the case design is the patented unidirectional rotating bezel, calibrated in feet, which includes the US Navy no-decompression limit table for enhanced dive safety monitoring. Protecting the dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating to maximize legibility under various lighting conditions. The spatial volumes within the case have been specifically reconfigured to achieve these more compact dimensions compared to historical precedents, offering a contemporary wear profile.
Powering the timekeeping functions is a Swiss mechanical automatic movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0 Hz). This self-winding caliber provides a power reserve of approximately 38 hours and features decoration applied by DOXA. Time indication is displayed via central hour, minute, and second hands. A date aperture is positioned at the 3 o'clock location on the dial. The Aquamarine dial itself presents a sunray finish, contributing a luminous sunburst effect. Legibility in low-light environments is maintained through the application of Super-LumiNova luminescent material to critical dial elements and hands. Attachment options include a stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet or an FKM rubber strap, both secured with a folding clasp incorporating a ratcheting wetsuit extension. The lug width is specified at 18.00 mm for strap compatibility.
