Quick TakeThis Searambler is more than just a timekeeper; it's a trusty companion for underwater adventures and a stylish statement for everyday wear. The gentle gleam of its silver dial, paired with the robust steel of its case and the intricate "Beads of Rice" bracelet, whispers tales of classic dive watch heritage. Yet, this isn't some stuffy museum piece. The pop of luminescence on the hands and markers, the satisfying click of the unidirectional bezel, and the reliable Swiss automatic heart beating within speak to a readiness for action. It’s the kind of watch that feels equally at home 200 meters below the waves as it does paired with a casual shirt for a weekend outing, always carrying an air of understated capability and timeless cool. The domed sapphire crystal isn't just for show; it’s a nod to the pioneering spirit of early divers, now rendered in modern, scratch-resistant materials.
Description
The Doxa SUB 200 Searambler, reference number 796.15.021.20, is a three-hand diver's timepiece, first presented at the 2019 Baselworld event. Its construction incorporates a robust 316L stainless steel case, measuring 42.00 mm in diameter and 46.00 mm from lug to lug, with a total height of 13.80 mm. Protection for the iconic dial is provided by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which features an anti-reflective coating and a domed profile reminiscent of vintage plexiglass crystals. Ensuring water resistance to a depth of 200 meters (equivalent to 20 ATM or 656 feet), the watch is equipped with a screw-down crown and a solid stainless steel screw-down case back. A key feature for diving applications is its unidirectional rotating bezel, which can be optioned with either a sapphire or stainless steel inlay. For optimal legibility in low-light conditions, all dive-relevant elements, inclusive of the bezel markings, are treated with a Super-LumiNova® luminescent coating.
Powering the SUB 200 Searambler is a Swiss mechanical automatic, self-winding movement, decorated by DOXA. This caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0 Hz) and provides a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. Time is indicated through hours, minutes, and seconds hands, complemented by a date display. The timepiece is offered with multiple strap and bracelet options. The stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet is crafted from 316L stainless steel and includes a folding clasp that integrates a wetsuit extension and is adorned with the DOXA fish symbol. Alternatively, FKM rubber straps are available in two sizes. The standard rubber strap, with a pin buckle, measures 125.00 mm by 75.00 mm. A smaller version, also with a pin buckle, measures 110.00 mm by 65.00 mm. All strap and bracelet options interface with the case via a 19.00 mm lug width. GenderMen
