Quick TakeStep into the deep end with the SUB 200 C-GRAPH II Sharkhunter, a watch that feels less like a mere accessory and more like essential gear strapped to your wrist. It’s got that rugged, no-nonsense vibe, built from solid 316L steel, ready for action but sized just right at 42mm so it won’t snag on your gear—or your cuff back on dry land. The automatic chronograph heart beats reliably at 4Hz, keeping track of every crucial second with its Tri-Compax eyes, while the 56-hour power reserve means it’s ready to go even after a couple of days off. That sunburst dial isn’t just pretty; it catches the light perfectly, whether it’s dappled sunlight filtering through the waves or the overheads back at the office. Twisting the unidirectional bezel feels satisfyingly mechanical, a tactile reminder of its purpose. Sure, it's rated for 200 meters, handles the pressure, and looks sharp on either the classic beads-of-rice bracelet or the tough FKM rubber, but it’s the whole package – the heritage, the capability, the sheer cool factor – that makes this Sharkhunter a modern legend in the making.
Description
Engineered for demanding underwater environments, the Doxa SUB 200 C-GRAPH II Sharkhunter, reference 797.10.101.20, functions as a purpose-built tool watch. Its construction utilizes high-grade 316L stainless steel for the case, measuring a contemporary 42.00 mm in diameter and 46.00 mm lug-to-lug, with a total height of 15.85 mm. This represents a dimensional reduction compared to the prior 45.00 mm model introduced in 2020, optimizing wearability while retaining core functionality. Water ingress protection is rated at 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 meters or approximately 656 feet, secured by a screw-down crown and a solid stainless steel screw-down case back. Central to its timekeeping and measurement capabilities is a Swiss mechanical automatic chronograph movement. This self-winding caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0 Hz) and incorporates 27 jewels within its architecture. The movement, decorated by DOXA, delivers a substantial power reserve of up to 56 hours.
Time indication includes central hours, minutes, and seconds, supplemented by a Tri-Compax chronograph layout featuring three sub-dials for elapsed time measurement, critical for tracking dive durations. Protecting the dial assembly is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, enhanced with an anti-reflective treatment to ensure legibility under various lighting conditions. The dial itself exhibits a sunray finish, producing a luminous sunburst effect intended to evoke a vintage aesthetic while maintaining clarity. Surrounding the crystal is a unidirectional rotating bezel, a crucial safety feature for diving, allowing elapsed time tracking. The bezel incorporates a stainless steel inlay (with ceramic as an alternative option depending on configuration) featuring minute indications highlighted with white Super-Luminova for low-light visibility. Attachment options include a stainless steel "Beads of Rice" bracelet equipped with a folding clasp and integrated wetsuit extension, or alternatively, an FKM rubber strap secured with a pin buckle. The lug width is standardized at 20.00 mm. GenderMen
