This calibre operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4.0 Hz) and offers a power reserve of 50 hours. The movement, decorated by DOXA, is housed within a substantial stainless steel case measuring 45.00 mm in diameter and 47.00 mm lug-to-lug, with a height of 16.25 mm. Ensuring its integrity at extreme depths, the case is equipped with a screw-down crown and a stainless steel screw-down case back, contributing to its impressive water resistance rating of 150 ATM, which is equivalent to 1,500 meters or 5,249 feet. A key feature for professional diving applications is the integrated helium release valve, a nod to its Conquistador heritage.

Further enhancing its utility as a diver's instrument, the watch features a sapphire crystal protecting the iconic aquamarine dial. Legibility in low-light underwater conditions is paramount, and the SUB 1500T addresses this with Super-LumiNova luminescent coating applied to all critical mission information elements.
