The case surfaces exhibit a dual finishing technique, incorporating both polished sections and areas with a satin finish. A prominent feature is the polished screw-down bezel, distinguished by its characteristic side knurling and a full thread design, ensuring secure attachment. Complementing the case front is a screw-down case back, treated with a satin finish and fitted with a sapphire crystal aperture, permitting visual inspection of the internal mechanism. The structural integrity allows for a water resistance rating of 3 bar, which is equivalent to a depth of 30 meters. The complete case assembly comprises 19 individual parts.

Powering the CH-1241.1R is the Manufacture Caliber C.122, an automatic, self-winding movement developed in-house. It incorporates 30 jewels to minimize friction at critical points within the gear train and escapement. When fully wound, the mainspring provides a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. Time indication adheres to the classic regulator format: minutes are displayed centrally via a large hand, while hours are shown on a sub-dial positioned at 12 o'clock, and seconds are indicated on a separate sub-dial located at 6 o'clock. The dial itself is meticulously crafted from solid sterling silver (925) and adorned with a traditional guilloche pattern. The hands are executed in the "Poire Stuart" shape, featuring thermal bluing for color, diamond cutting for sharpness, and a distinct curvature; the minute hand requires manual bending during assembly.
