DescriptionThe Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is a professional-grade diver's watch crafted from high-quality stainless steel. The case measures 39.5 millimeters in diameter and 14.2 millimeters in thickness. It is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that has been treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides for improved readability in all lighting conditions. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a blue ceramic insert with a diving scale made from Omega's proprietary Liquidmetal™ alloy. This bezel is designed to ensure that elapsed dive times can only be accidentally extended, never accidentally shortened, a critical safety feature for divers. The watch's screw-down crown helps to maintain the watch's water resistance to a depth of 600 meters (2,000 feet). A helium escape valve is also integrated into the case design to allow for the safe release of helium gas that can become trapped inside the watch during deep-sea dives.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is powered by the Omega Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, a self-winding mechanical movement. This movement has been certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to withstand a rigorous series of eight tests that measure its resistance to magnetic fields, water resistance, power reserve accuracy, timekeeping accuracy in six different positions, and overall functionality. The Calibre 8800 features a free sprung balance with a silicon balance spring, which contributes to its exceptional accuracy and resistance to magnetic fields. The movement also has a Co-Axial escapement, which reduces friction and wear and tear on the movement's components, helping to ensure long-term reliability. The Calibre 8800 has a power reserve of approximately 55 hours.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is outfitted with a stainless steel bracelet that features a fold-over clasp with a double security deployment system and a comfort release system. The bracelet is designed to be both comfortable and secure on the wrist, even during strenuous activity. The watch also includes an integrated date window located at the 3 o'clock position on the dial.
