DescriptionThe L2.859.4.78.3 timepiece features a circular stainless steel enclosure, with a diameter of 44.00 mm. Sapphire crystal, treated to resist scratching, shields the dial. A transparent case back, also made of sapphire, reveals the intricate mechanics. The overall construction creates 3 bar water resistance. The watch's physical presence is further defined by a 22 mm lug distance, 51.80 mm lug-to-lug measurement, a profile thickness of 14.40 mm, with an overall weight of 118.0 grams. The dial showcases a silver "barleycorn" texture and contains Arabic numerals applied through a painting process.

Time is indicated via blued steel hands. Timekeeping functions of the L688 caliber consist of hour, minute, a subsidiary seconds display positioned at the 9 o'clock mark, and a date function. This self-winding, mechanical caliber oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It's power reserve extends up to 60 hours. The chronograph's functions, actuated by a column wheel mechanism, provides central 60-second hand, a 30-minute counter at the 3 o'clock location, and 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock position. A brown alligator strap along with a triple safety folding clasp and a push-piece system fastens the watch.
