DescriptionThe Fortis Novonaut N-42 Cobalt Blue, designated as reference F2040013, features a case meticulously constructed from recycled stainless steel. The case diameter is precisely 42 millimeters, with a lug-to-lug measurement extending to 51 millimeters. The overall height, or thickness, of the watch case comes in at 15 millimeters, giving it a strong presence without being overly bulky. The weight of the watch head alone, without the strap, is documented as 115 grams. Water resistance is considerable, rated to 200 meters, 600 feet, or 20 atmospheres, ensuring resilience in various aquatic environments. A screw-down crown, integrated with a triple gasket system, contributes to this robust water resistance. Added features include Performance FKM Gaskets and quickset pushers. The crystal shielding the dial is crafted from sapphire, enhanced with an anti-reflective coating applied to both its inner and outer surfaces, maximizing legibility under diverse lighting conditions.

The dial showcases a sunburst blue finish, providing a visually dynamic backdrop for the applied Lumicast®X1 numerals. These numerals, along with the metallic hour and minute hands, are treated with Superluminova®X1, emitting a distinctive blue glow for exceptional visibility in low-light scenarios. This sophisticated movement features a column wheel chronograph complication, along with a day-date display. The Calibre Werk 17 offers a chronometer that boasts a power reserve of 60 hours. The watch has a bidirectional ceramic "Sirius bezel" also featuring Superluminova®X1. The caseback features a smoked sapphire cyrstal showing off the rocket.
