Surface finishing incorporates both polished and satin-finished areas. A key structural element is the polished screw-down bezel, featuring a full thread and side knurling, which secures a curved sapphire crystal treated with a double anti-reflective coating. Complementing the front crystal, the case back is also of a screw-down design, executed with a satin finish and fitted with a sapphire crystal window to permit observation of the internal mechanism. Water resistance is rated at 3 bar, equivalent to a depth of 30 meters, offering protection against incidental water contact but unsuitable for swimming or diving activities.

Powering the Opus Chronograph Gold is the Caliber C. 741 S, an automatic mechanical movement characterized by extensive skeletonization.
